Initial configuration

A few configuration steps are required before the Viewer can be used. The following must be exchanged between Luscii and you:

1. Luscii needs your certificate with which the SAML document is signed. Maximum validity of the certificate is two years. This is deliberately chosen to ensure we keep knowledge of the certificates refresh process up to date both internally and externally. See Generating a singing certificate for instructions.
2. If you require SAML encryption, you need Luscii’s certificate to encrypt messages. A separate certificate is issued for each new integration. SAML encryption is optional.
3. Luscii needs to know the <saml:Issuer> value that will be used, to be able to look up which partner system is used.
